Our air, water and food are clean and free of toxins. Environmentally-friendly means of transportation abound. 100% of our energy comes from renewable sources. Cars are banned in some areas to allow for more, closer human engagement. There is a rise in sustainable farming and urban farming. Biodiversity is protected and celebrated. Soils are able to replenish and become fertile again. We have become vegetarian or vegan or we eat food that doesn’t come from animals.
We become more free
The innocent leave prisons are no longer punished. Prisons are transformed and/or closed down. Freedom of religion is the standard and religious violence is nowhere to be seen. There are no more failed states and tumultuous regions have become peaceful. People are free to move between nations.
Technology empowers, nourishes, and heals us
Robots and AI are put to work for more and better livelihoods for people. Water can be produced from the energy from the sun. Car accidents are a thing of the past. Everyone has access to healthcare, water, electricity and education. New treatments are being developed to combat diseases, and a cure for cancer has been found.
We live in joyful community
We have many wonderful meeting places for safe and friendly encounters. There is more, closer and more meaningful contact between humans. Humor is treasured, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We don’t depend on devices. Uniqueness is accepted and cherished and narcissism finds its limits. People take meaningful collective and committed actions to combat the problems we face. Individual, collective and system responsibility is fairly divided.
The economy works for us all
There is a decentralized money system. People work in more humane working cycles and conditions. Society has moved away from the take/make/dispose economy and celebrates the end of extractive capitalism. Alienated labor is dead, and we are moving towards a circular, make/use/return economy . Poverty is combated and equal opportunities are celebrated.
